# Privacy Policy **Draw Along Studio** **Effective date: October 4, 2026** Draw Along Studio is a drawing and learning app for children and families. This policy explains how the app handles information. References to “we” mean the developer of Draw Along Studio identified in the app’s store listing. ## Information stored on your device The app works without a Draw Along Studio account. It stores the following information locally to provide its features: - A profile name you choose, rewards, stars, and unlocked stickers. - Saved drawings, coloring choices, drawing strokes, and gallery frames. - Completed lessons, practice activity, and progress indicators. - Language and sketchbook preferences. - A local record of whether DrawAlongPass has been unlocked. The device’s date is used locally to suggest a seasonal sketchbook. It is not sent to us. Screenshot Studio, where available, also stores editing drafts locally. The app does not send your profile, drawings, or lesson progress to a developer-operated server. It does not include advertising, analytics tracking, a public gallery, or automatic uploads of drawings. We do not sell or rent this information or use it for targeted advertising. The app does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone. ## Purchases Optional DrawAlongPass purchases and restoration are handled by the relevant app store, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The app receives purchase information needed to determine access, such as the product identifier, purchase status, and transaction or purchase-token information. Payment card details are not collected or stored by the app. Purchase requests, responses, and errors may appear in temporary diagnostic logs on your device. These logs are not automatically uploaded to us. Avoid sending purchase tokens or unredacted diagnostic logs in support messages. The app does not publish drawings automatically. An exported image contains the drawing and selected frame; anything a child writes or draws in the image will be visible to its recipient. Files saved outside the app remain in the location you choose. A service you choose for sharing handles the image under its own terms and privacy policy. Device or cloud backups may also retain app data or exported files according to your device settings and the backup provider’s policy. ## Children’s privacy and parent controls The app is designed for children to use with a parent or guardian. Children do not need to provide an email address, create an online account, or upload information to use drawing lessons. A nickname can be used instead of a child’s real name. The Grown-ups area provides help, privacy information, and a control to delete child data. The grown-up check is a convenience to discourage accidental actions; it is not identity verification or a substitute for parental supervision. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support message, contact us so we can address the request and delete information that does not need to be retained. ## Retention and deletion Local child data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage, or remove it through your device’s controls. Browser storage can also be cleared by browser settings or storage management. To remove the child’s profile, saved gallery drawings, lesson completion, rewards, practice activity, and sketchbook selection, open **Grown-ups → Parent controls → Delete child data** and confirm deletion. This action preserves the language preference and local purchase ownership record. It does not cancel a purchase, delete the store’s transaction history, remove Screenshot Studio drafts, or delete exported images and backups outside the app. Use the relevant device, browser, file, or backup controls to remove those copies. We cannot retrieve or delete local drawings on your behalf because they are not uploaded to us. ## Support messages If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request and resolve the issue. Please send messages as a parent or guardian and avoid including a child’s full name, identifying details, or unnecessary drawings. Support messages may be handled by email providers and retained as needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of support correspondence; information we must retain by law may be kept. ## Security and changes Local storage is subject to your device and browser security. No storage method can guarantee complete security, and the app does not provide a developer-operated cloud backup. Protect your device and save important drawings separately. We may update this policy when the app or its information practices change. The effective date above will be updated.
