Welcome to PocketPet Companion! By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). This is a legally binding agreement between you and the developers of PocketPet Companion ("we," "us," or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with them, you must not use our App. Your continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of these Terms and any future updates.

PocketPet Companion is an entertainment application designed to provide a fun, engaging, and friendly digital experience. The service includes:

Virtual Pet Care: Adopting, raising, feeding, playing with, and customizing a digital pet.
AI Chat Companion: Engaging in conversations with an AI-powered character designed for companionship and entertainment.
Mini-Games: A collection of games to play with your virtual pet to earn rewards.
Personalization: Unlocking items to customize your pet and its environment.

                    For Entertainment Purposes Only: The App, especially the AI chat feature, is for entertainment and companionship. The AI is not a human and its responses are generated by algorithms. It is not designed to provide medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.
                

🤝3. User Conduct & AI Interaction

You agree to interact with the App and your AI companion responsibly and respectfully. You will:

Use the App for its intended purpose of entertainment and companionship.
Treat your AI companion and any community features with respect.
Be mindful that you are interacting with an AI, not a human.
Not rely on the AI for professional advice or emergency services. In a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately.

🚫4. Prohibited Uses

You are strictly prohibited from using the App to:

Engage in or promote illegal activities.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or generate hateful content.
Attempt to "jailbreak," manipulate, or force the AI to generate inappropriate, harmful, or dangerous content.
Share sexually explicit or violent material.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with them.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App.
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.

Zero-Tolerance Policy: We have a zero-tolerance policy for the misuse of our service. Violating these rules may result in immediate and permanent termination of your account without notice.

📱5. User-Generated Content

You are responsible for the content you create and input into the App, including your chat messages and pet profile information ("User Content").

Your Ownership

You retain full ownership of your User Content.

License to Us

By providing User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App. This includes using your chat history to provide conversational memory for *your* AI companion.

All rights, title, and interest in the App—including its code, design, graphics, AI characters, and branding—are the exclusive property of PocketPet Companion and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our branding or intellectual property except as part of the App itself.

⚠️7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT - AI IS NOT A THERAPIST: PocketPet Companion is NOT a substitute for professional mental health services, medical advice, or any other professional guidance. It cannot diagnose, treat, or provide therapy. If you are in crisis or need support, please contact a qualified professional.

"As Is" Service

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PocketPet Companion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use of the App; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Your privacy is paramount. Our data collection and use practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. Please review it to understand how we protect your information.

🔚9. Account Termination

Termination by You

You can terminate your account at any time by using the in-app deletion feature or by contacting our support team.

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide you with notice through the App or by other means to give you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. Your continued use of the App after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms.

⚖️11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You agree to first contact us to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days, we both agree to resolve any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms by binding arbitration in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
